Kate Higham

I am an advocate for addressing the environmental challenges facing our world today. With a keen understanding of the international legal complexities involved in solving climate issues, I hold a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Geography from the University of Otago. In 2023, I expanded my horizons by studying abroad at the University of Copenhagen, gaining valuable international perspectives on sustainability and global approaches to environmental challenges. 

Currently, I am embarking on my legal career in Auckland, focusing on civil litigation, employment, and criminal matters. Alongside my legal pursuits, I have a passion for music. I have been playing classical guitar since childhood and have more recently transitioned to the electric guitar, drawing inspiration from a diverse range of musicians, particularly those from the ‘70s and '80s. 

I graduated from the Pinnacle Programme in 2023. Pinnacle has shaped my journey since the age of 18, instilling in me the self-belief to strive for personal and professional growth. I am excited to support the next generation of students and future leaders to have the same enriching experiences I had.
