Peter Urlich

Educated at Sacred Heart College in Auckland, I started a band called Chillum with my friend Ian Morris.  After Chillum folded, Ian and I formed ‘Th’ Dudes’ with Dave Dobbyn where I was the frontman.  I’ve had a number of experiences in my lifetime from radio DJ to competing in Dancing with the Stars to music directing The ‘Taste of Auckland Festival’.  I also helped to create the star-making reality series “Popstars” which started a worldwide reality TV trend and I am currently one half of the famous DJ team, Nice’n’Urlich.  I sing everything from Sinatra to the Stones with my current band, the Peter Urlich Swingin’ Sextet.
