I represented New Zealand in Rowing from 2006 to 2016, competing in three Olympic Games (2008, 2012, and 2016) where I won an Olympic Bronze (2012), a World Championship in 2009, and numerous other World Championships medals. I joined the Pinnacle Programme in 2009, and alongside my crewmate, Storm Uru and I graduated in 2010. I have been part of the Hyundai NZ Pinnacle family ever since.
After retiring from Rowing in 2016, I have continued to be involved with inspiring the next generation as an ambassador for the New Zealand Olympic Committee. I have done this by visiting schools, and sharing my journey as well as being a Committee member for my local rowing club and on the board of Special Olympics New Zealand. Beyond sport, I am building on my finance background and the core values that made me a successful as a rower. I am working alongside entrepreneurs as an Investment Analyst for Venture Capital firm, Movac.
