Georgia McArthur

Hi, my name is Georgia and I’m an accountant by day and photographer… any other time. I developed a passion for photography from my grandmother and a love for nature. I joined the Pinnacle Programme with no clear direction of where I wanted to take my photography but knew I wanted to learn as much as possible. The Pinnacle Programme gave me so many opportunities to photograph various events such as the Fieldays and dealer awards which gave me valuable business management skills. I would compare the Pinnacle Programme to a bit like a toolbox. A toolbox filled with advice, training, and resources (even some you never knew you needed) that you can tap into at any time.

The Pinnacle programme gave me the tools I needed to create a successful CV and give me the confidence for interviews that led me to obtain a role at KPMG Hamilton in their school leavers programme. Currently, I am New Zealand’s youngest accredited judge in photography and when I am not balancing the books I am building my photography business Valerie Visuals, named after my late Grandmother who always inspired me.
